CHICAGO 1933 WORLD'S FAIR SOUVENIR PHOTOS

Two photos depicting the Hall of Science and Fort Dearborn from the 1933 World's Fair in Chicago. These don't appear to be sepia tone images -- they have a positively gold appearance. (They may be black and white photos under amber colored glass, or photos printed onto some sort of metallic paper, or transparencies over metallic paper). Both have hand lettered captions"A Century of Progress" on the image. Definitely part of a series, they are stamped on reverse "#6 HALL OF SCIENCE" and #4. FORT DEARBORN". They depict a wonderful moderne deco structure and a log cabin village. Photo quality is extremely crisp. Frames are original, wood with gold trim and copper loop hangers. Each measures 4.5 x 5.5 inches. Excellent condition.
