2 MODERN BENNINGTON GEOMETRIC COASTERS
Pair of hand glazed small dishes or large coasters from Bennington Potters, Vermont, each measruing 4 inches across. The pattern is irregularly spaced, incised radiating lines that are glazed in violet or light purple.There are sections in the center of both where the lines meet that are unglazed. They are both marked with the Bennington potters mark and the number *1290 on the bottom, but they are not identical: the lines are much deeper on one and the glaze is much darker. GEORGES BRIARD HYALYN "MIDAS" AZTEC ASHTRAY
Large ultra-swanky black matte ashtray with Aztec motif on ends and curved ridge in center. It measures 16 1/2 inches long and 5 1/2 inches wide and has 5 cigarette rests in the center. There is no Briard signature on the front, but on the back, which has the typical Hyalyn cork, his signature is visible, though faded, and the name Hyalyn is also visible. The cork is 95% intact. There is some wear to the gold in a few places but it is still extremely flashy.

Stylized hand-painted Calypso musician in a straw hat is depicted on large freeform dish measuring 16 inches long, 9 inches across and 3 inches deep. It has 3 legs and multiple ridges on one end --- probably designed as ashtray. Figure is in orange and brown with gold highlights, background is mottled brown and tan, finish is glossy. The back is incised Bellaire of Calif in white script on black and it is also signed on the front.
