VINTAGE FORNASETTI SHIP COASTERS

Pair of "Velieri" ship coasters from the studio of Piero Fornasetti, the modernist Milanese designer. They each measure about 4 inches in diameter and depict different sailing ships. They were made for Bonwit Teller and are each marked on the back and are in excellent (used) condition, with little or no wear to the gold. This set probably dates from the 1960's.
